- No. The Work Hours Calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your data is never sent to any server.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. Once the page has loaded, the tool works without an internet connection.
- Which browsers are supported?

- How is overtime calculated?
- Overtime is the number of hours worked beyond the weekly threshold you set (default 40 hours). The tool shows total weekly hours and highlights the excess. Actual overtime pay rates (1.5×, 2×, etc.) depend on your employment contract — this calculator shows hours only, not the overtime premium automatically.
- Does the calculator handle overnight shifts correctly?

- Is this tool suitable for freelancers?
- Yes — freelancers can use it to record billable hours per day and get a weekly total to include on invoices. Enter your hourly rate in the pay section to see the week's gross billable amount before generating an invoice.
